Fatal Child Abuse in the USA

In our continuing series of posts of conflict statistics, I found this one particularly horrifying in the run up to Christmas. In the mind of the gun folk, the threat to families comes from outside intruders, whereas in reality far more children are killed by abuse and neglect by their own families and here are there statistics over the last ten years compared with 9/11 and the wars the US has been fighting. Let us remember these victims too:
