Global Inequality Map: a Major Cause of Conflict

Always interesting to see a map of the world with inequality shown and mentally think about how much conflict there is in the unequal countries, including gun deaths in the US which is now joining the most unequal club. China is of course very unequal and has rising levels of local disorder. It remains to be seen if this translates into any major change or threat to system wide stability:

Roughly put, a GINI index of 0.0 is everyone gets the same and a GINI Index of 1.0 Bill Gates or whoever gets everything. Sometimes the latter is show as 100.
